System & Equipment Requirements

To successfully service remote client programs, independent contractors must maintain a professional-grade computer, secure wired internet connection, and a distraction-free work environment. The requirements below reflect common standards across virtual servicing platforms.

💻 Computer Requirements

Processor (CPU): Modern Intel or AMD processor (minimum equivalent to Intel i3 or Ryzen 3; higher-performance processors recommended).
Not Supported: MacOS, ARM-based devices, Chromebooks, tablets, or mobile-only devices.
Memory (RAM): Minimum 8 GB recommended for stable performance.
Storage: Minimum 30 GB free space recommended.
Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit, licensed version).
Monitor: Minimum 1280×1024 resolution; 1920×1080 recommended.
USB Ports: At least one USB port available for headset connectivity.

🌐 Internet & Connectivity Requirements

Connection Type: Hard-wired broadband (DSL, cable, or fiber).
Wi-Fi, mobile hotspots, cellular, and satellite connections are not supported.
Speed: Minimum 10 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload. Higher speeds recommended for stability.
Direct Ethernet connection required.
Use of VPNs, proxies, or virtual machines is not permitted during servicing.

📞 Phone Requirements (If Applicable)

Some client programs may require a dedicated home phone line. App-based calling tools, softphones, or mobile-only solutions may not be permitted depending on program requirements.

🎧 Equipment & Accessories

USB-wired headset with noise-canceling microphone required.
Wireless or Bluetooth headsets are not supported.
Hard-wired keyboard and mouse recommended.
A mobile device may be required for multi-factor authentication.

🪑 Workspace Standards

Quiet, secure, and interruption-free environment.
No background noise, pets, or shared workspace disruptions during scheduled service hours.
Professional workstation setup recommended for sustained performance.

🔒 Security & Location Requirements

Servicing must occur from an approved U.S. location.
Certain states may have program restrictions depending on client requirements.
Independent contractors are responsible for ensuring their equipment meets platform standards prior to enrollment.
